EXPEDITION
ROPES
- Learn to select, inspect,
wear & care for your
mountaineering gear.
- Learn to recognize proper rope
utilization & safety.
- Learn proper rappel technique from
hooking up to proper body position.
- Learn to perform self arrest, recovery,
self rescue.
- Learn proper ascending techniques
& fluid energy application.
- Learn to do a main line exchange
while ascending.
- Learn proper top rope bouldering/climbing
technique.
- Learn to select you climbing
route, proper commands, hand holds &
proper belay technique.
- Learn the bowline, figure 8,
prussic & square knot.
